I've always loved painting snowdrops and to reduce the motive on only the important shapes is a very relaxing and wonderful little funny moment. I must do some more and will add it to this post.

"White Subjects" is a new challenge at Jean Haines's Online Art School www.watercolourinspiration.com and a fairytale painting fits so perfectly to Christmas time. Andersen's fairytales are my most favorite ones.

A brand new candidate for my Veggie Series inspired by the "vegetable month" at Jean Haines's online Art School www.watercolourinspiration.com and what a!! Cauliflower might be the most versatile vegetable. It is a real all-rounder when it comes to versatility in preparation. Anything goes, from Mexican to Indonesian. Youn can roast it, steam it, grill it like a steak, puree it like mashed potatoes, or grate it and eat it like rice. Cauliflower is a whole lot more than just a side dish, but is also great for easy meal prep and exactly what we need to carry us through a busy week.
