.... manchmal ist es schwer, den richtige Rhythmus, die Inspiration wieder zu finden und so ist es am Allerbesten, wenn man/frau Dinge malt, die man/frau besonders liebt - bei mir Katzenstudien und Blumenbilder. Sie machen einfach Freude und ich genieße das Arbeiten an den Bilder, ohne den Anspruch mit jedem Pinselstrich ein Meisterwerk zu schaffen. Das entspannt und macht den Weg für Weiteres frei ...

SOME SPRING THINGS - ICELANDIC POPPIES

Bei dieser Variante habe ich den Hintergrund mal mehr transparent gearbeitet, wobei es mir fast am besten ohne jeglichen Hintergrund gefallen hat. Bei den beiden vorherigen Bilder ist die Leuchtkraft m.M. nach stärker, so das ich am überlegen bin, 
ob ich hier den Hintergrund nachdunkeln soll (geht ja immer, nur heller ist oft schlechter .. ;-) ...

This is the first year I've planted Icelandic Poppies in my Garden. These are beautiful and daily surprising plants. Every day there are blossoms appearing in new colors. The vast and yet so delicate blossoms reminds me of ballerinas and I could paint them again and again.
