I remembered I hadn't painted a cat in a long time, so I corrected that. This portrait of my kitty Coralie @coralie_and_xenia is painted on a cradled wooden panel, ground with standard wall paint. And I like the result very much. Not so much the vertical lines, but I’ll pay attention to that next time.

In German, we call this bird a "Zaunkönig"

Since we live near the woods and have a few sun-warmed walls in our garden, we sometimes get visits from lizards. I haven't painted a lizard yet, but I'm sure there will be more in the future.

Taurus, the second sign of the zodiac, is represented by the bull, an earth sign ruled by Venus. People born under this sign are known for their strong, reliable, and stable nature. The astrological symbol of Taurus reflects their characteristics, strength, determination, and a grounded personality. Those born between April 20 and May 20 fall under the Taurus zodiac sign. And so am I.

Hidden
Observing, photographing, and painting frogs is a lifelong pleasure for me. Maybe their part in the fairytales during my childhood, maybe their feature of transformation. I don't know it exactly. But I think they like me too, because we've had some in our garden for years.

It was a short Iceland trip years ago, but it was during wintertime and full of life-long memories. I was so lucky that our golden-circle bus tour stopped near a small church so that I could take some photos of the iconic Icelandic horses grazing in the distance.

I've never painted a bat, but aren't they cute animals? For years, we've had one, or maybe two, in our garden, and we feel so lucky to admire their gorgeous hunting rounds around our garden lamp.
