The Red Star Reinette (known in German as the Rote Sternrenette and in French as Reinette Rouge Étoilée) is a traditional, heritage apple variety over 200 years old, prized for its deep red skin and distinctive star-shaped lenticels. I love the taste and color of this apple so much 🍎, and I am very happy to have one in my garden.

I remembered I hadn't painted a cat in a long time, so I corrected that. This portrait of my kitty Coralie @coralie_and_xenia is painted on a cradled wooden panel, ground with standard wall paint. And I like the result very much. Not so much the vertical lines, but I’ll pay attention to that next time.
