Schon seit langem hatte ich den Plan, für mein Gedicht "Die Nebelfee"  (veröffentlicht sowohl in der "Kinder-Gedichte-Welt", als auch in dem Buch -> Vorschau - mit gleichnamigem Titel) eine Illustration zu malen, und in diesem Herbst hatte ich endlich eine Idee, wie sie aussehen könnte. 

Die Nebelfee

Die Nebelfee Griseldis

lebt fern, am großen Moor,

verwunschen liegt ihr Häuschen,

verfallen Zaun und Tor.

Und kommst als Gast du jemals

in ihre kleine Küche,

dann tropft es – Pling, Plang, Plong gleich

vom Dach her auf die Tische.

Aus ihren Haaren sprüht es

ganz allerliebst und fein.

Die Kröten unterm Esstisch

sind auch nicht stubenrein.

Doch nimmt sie dich dann mit sich

auf ihren Liedergang,

kannst staunend du erleben

den Nebelfee-Gesang.

Dabei webt sie dann Tücher

mit Silbertau bestickt

durch Büsche, Bäume, Felder:

hauchzart die Welt entrückt,

löst auf sich hinter Schleiern,

besetzt mit tausend Perlen.

Kaum ahnst du noch die Dörfer,

die Birken, Tannen, Erlen.

Wie Silber klingt ihr Singen,

uralt die Melodien -

durch sie kann sie die Nebel

mal hier-, mal dorthin ziehen.

Verzaubert wirst du staunen

was man im Nebel sieht:

ein Reich der weichen Linien,

wo Fantasie erblüht.

Griseldis wird verschwinden,

ein Hauch nur bleibt - verschwommen.

Am Zweig ein Stück vom Schleier.

Du darfst gern wiederkommen….

 Blackberry festival with the wood mice

Harvest Festival in the Blackberry Hag!

Now everyone draws from the full.

Fips and Tini, also friend Snaag

may feast as they please.

So there's gymnastics, hand-hanging,

jumped up, abseiled,

little tail wrestling with little tail,

when rushing to the prey.

Because everyone wants to catch

yummy berry balls,

who falls to the ground in droves,

and home carried on the fly.

But the best hang high

sweetly spoiled by the sun.

Quickly pushed up the ladders.

Cheerful laughter sounds.

Max, the little one, is scurrying about

to the top with skill.

Grabs two in one go.

The same trick every year.

Friedolin and mouse Sophie

start to sing the blackberry song.

Mice never sing happier,

than smeared with blue juice.

All frolic,

others cook or feast,

praise neighbor's juice recipes,

lift some blackberry jugs.

The moon has long since appeared

and softly illuminates the festival.

Blessed with blackberries are the expressions,

when all tired it leaves.

Oh, it wasn't easy to catch him for a portrait; he was so swamped during this heavy blizzard. He had to help the lighthouse keeper so that all the other fishermen could find their way home for Christmas. Catching a delicious fish for Christmas dinner, so I had to do a speedy job and PLOP!! He disappears!
