Der traumhaft kristallklare Obersee liegt im Berchtesgadener Land in den bayerischen Alpen. Er ist nur mit dem Elektroboot über den Königssee bis zur Anlegestelle Salet erreichbar, gefolgt von einem kurzen Spaziergang von etwa 15 Minuten.

The stunning, crystal-clear Obersee is situated in the Berchtesgadener Land region of the Bavarian Alps. It is accessible only by electric boat across the Königssee to the Salet landing stage, followed by a short 15-minute walk.

The second painting for my small series (here you can see No.1 of the series), inspired by my own photographs taken at the wonderful and very inspiring HafenCity Hamburg. Reflections, maritime symbols, and signs everywhere, modern and very old buildings side by side. Artist's heaven pure! And there’s another story in Hamburg the “fusion” between the love of my life and I started exactly there. So it’s logical that we both are side by side in this painting too.

This one is my submission for #79 FUSION Challenge at @aligator_watercolor_community.

Painting together with friends is one of these moments I've missed so much during the last Covid infected year. So I was very pleased (after full vaccination!!) and happy that my dear friend Gabriele Rinkleff invited me to paint together in her gorgeous atelier. This broken wonderful blossom was our warming up exercise and I like the result and hope you agree.

Online Art School of Jean Haines. Jean said about it: " My bubble tutorial seems to have become addictive! It's contagious!" And I must answer from the bottom of my heart:" YES!! And I love it!"

Especially in Winter I love visiting the great river Elbe with it's wide open views and the serenity is feeding my soul. This is a quick exercise with ink in wet on wet technique.
