Ich habe die Challenge mit den 100 #little gems nicht geschafft und dennoch bin ich sehr zufrieden, mit diesem Projekt, 25 sind immerhin ein Viertel. Solche kleinen Formate sind wahrlich nicht meine Komfortzone, genauer gesagt habe ich eigentlich Miniaturen nie besonders gemocht, doch wie so oft, habe ich durch die Teilnahme viel gelernt und freue mich auf die kommenden Challenges in 2019. Von Herzen das Allerbeste Euch allen und ein glückliches 2019!!


I did not manage the challenge with the 100 #little gems, and yet I'm pleased with this project; 25 are at least a quarter. Such small formats are not really my comfort zone; more specifically, I've never really liked miniatures, but as so often, I've learned a lot from attending and am looking forward to the upcoming challenges in 2019. The very best of you all, and a happy 2019!!

Chimney sweeps are often associated with a number of good luck symbols. For example, pigs and chimney sweeps are often linked together in tradition as good luck charms. It once was customary for the town chimney sweep to tote a pig through the streets on New Year’s Day; people paid a small sum to make a wish while pulling a hair from the pig. ....

In Germany it's a New Year's eve tradition to bring this small gifts decorated with Lucky clover and a little Chimney Sweep to family, friends and neighbors wishing good luck and a healthy New Year ahead.
