Missing the sea - so I paint myself there. This is an exercise after Nita Engle to create light areas with masking fluid. I've never used so much masking fluid in one watercolor, but in this special motive it fits perfect. Love the light glowing on the waves. Hope you like it too.

    Nita would say you paid attention, Isabella, and would absolutely love your painting. So do I!
    I had the good fortune to take a week-long workshop with Nita about 10 years ago in the midwestern US. What a great, enthusiastic teacher she is! She is very generous with her knowledge.
