Schon seit langem hatte ich den Plan, für mein Gedicht "Die Nebelfee"  (veröffentlicht sowohl in der "Kinder-Gedichte-Welt", als auch in dem Buch -> Vorschau - mit gleichnamigem Titel) eine Illustration zu malen, und in diesem Herbst hatte ich endlich eine Idee, wie sie aussehen könnte. 

Die Nebelfee

Die Nebelfee Griseldis

lebt fern, am großen Moor,

verwunschen liegt ihr Häuschen,

verfallen Zaun und Tor.

Und kommst als Gast du jemals

in ihre kleine Küche,

dann tropft es – Pling, Plang, Plong gleich

vom Dach her auf die Tische.

Aus ihren Haaren sprüht es

ganz allerliebst und fein.

Die Kröten unterm Esstisch

sind auch nicht stubenrein.

Doch nimmt sie dich dann mit sich

auf ihren Liedergang,

kannst staunend du erleben

den Nebelfee-Gesang.

Dabei webt sie dann Tücher

mit Silbertau bestickt

durch Büsche, Bäume, Felder:

hauchzart die Welt entrückt,

löst auf sich hinter Schleiern,

besetzt mit tausend Perlen.

Kaum ahnst du noch die Dörfer,

die Birken, Tannen, Erlen.

Wie Silber klingt ihr Singen,

uralt die Melodien -

durch sie kann sie die Nebel

mal hier-, mal dorthin ziehen.

Verzaubert wirst du staunen

was man im Nebel sieht:

ein Reich der weichen Linien,

wo Fantasie erblüht.

Griseldis wird verschwinden,

ein Hauch nur bleibt - verschwommen.

Am Zweig ein Stück vom Schleier.

Du darfst gern wiederkommen….

Becoming Jane is a 2007 romantic drama starring Anne Hathaway as the pre-fame author Jane Austen and James McAvoy as her love interest, Tom Lefroy. The film, directed by Julian Jarrold, offers an imagined, semi-biographical story about their passionate, albeit tumultuous, romance and the potential inspiration for her famous novels.

This is what home looks like to me, especially in September, when the heather blooms in Lüneburg Heath are coming to an end, and on beautiful, sunny days, the land shines once again in this incredible pink.

I’ve never painted this in all these years. But I love how this turned out and hope you like it too.

 The iconic rain scene from the 2005 film Pride & Prejudice, where Mr. Darcy first proposes to Elizabeth Bennet, was filmed at the Temple of Apollo within Stourhead Gardens in Wiltshire, England. The National Trust property features this classical temple, which overlooks a beautiful lake and serves as a memorable backdrop for the dramatic moment. Mr. Darcy proposes to Elizabeth Bennet, revealing his love and his internal conflict between societal expectations and his feelings for her. The storm symbolizes the tumultuous emotions of the characters and the disruptive, passionate nature of their burgeoning, yet contentious, relationship. The scene's dramatic setting, with heavy rain and sound design, amplifies the raw intensity of their interaction, forcing them to confront their pride and prejudice in a charged environment.

The iconic cliffs featured in the 2005 film Pride & Prejudice are located at Stanage Edge in the Peak District National Park, Derbyshire, England. This impressive gritstone edge is where Keira Knightley’s Elizabeth Bennet stands, gazing out at the landscape and reflecting on her feelings for Mr. Darcy in one of the film’s most memorable scenes.

My journey with Jane Austen's scenarios goes on during this year of celebrating Jane Austen's 250th birthday. In quite possibly the most romantic scene of all time, Mr Darcy (Matthew Mcfadyen) confesses his love to Elizabeth Bennett (Kiera Knightley) while the sun rise up on a misty morning in the film "Pride and Prejudice".

 The whole world is celebrating Jane Austen's 250th Birthday, and so I do. I decided to paint a series about her wonderful stories, which I have enjoyed in several film versions. This second painting, a scene with Marianne Dashwood sitting at the seaside from the film "Sense and Sensibility" is inspired by Blanca Álvarez Sanchez lovely tutorial on Patreon. 

Painting wet-in-wet is very challenging for me at any time, and I struggle with this technique repeatedly.
