Portrait painting starts at Jean Haines's Online Art School www.watercolorinspiration.com with a lovely Buddha's head. I took my own photo of the gorgeous Buddha statue at Worpswede as inspiration.
This special laughing Buddha lives really nearby my home at an Artist Village, located near the city of Bremen at Worpswede. Many famous artists have worked there as Paula Modersohn Becker, Clara Westhoff, Fritz Mackensen, Otto Modersohn, Hans am Ende, Bernhard Hoetger, Fritz Overbeck, Heinrich Vogeler, the famous author Rainer Maria Rilke, and others. Inside the park around the museum this friendly buddha lives. I love to take our visitors there, as you can see
