This second painting, a scene with Marianne Dashwood sitting at the seaside from the film "Sense and Sensibility" is inspired by Blanca Álvarez Sanchez lovely tutorial on Patreon.
Painting wet-in-wet is very challenging for me at any time, and I struggle with this technique repeatedly.

Zauberer Geständnis
Ist schon klar, es geht um einen Zauberer in diesem Gedicht in der Kinder-Gedichte-Welt und das ist die Illustration für das geplante Buch mit meinen Kindergedichten.Bislang waren meine Kindergedichte auschließlich in der Kinder-Gedichte-Welt zu lesen und das wird sich jetzt hoffentlich bald um eine Buchversion erweitern.

Snowy Manhattan
This one is my submission for #80 IN AND OUT OF FOCUS Challenge at @aligator_watercolor_community.
The Flatiron Building: Since its introduction as one of New York City’s first skyscrapers in 1902, the Flatiron has been a quintessential New York City icon that garners immediate recognition, beloved by both local New Yorkers and visitors alike. Floating above the intersection of two of New York City’s most famous streets, Fifth Avenue and Broadway, the Flatiron anchors its eponymous district. Its defining triangular shape emphasizes the building’s unique positioning while oversized windows frame unobstructed views in all directions that span the tree tops of Madison Square Park to the skylines of Downtown. Now, the Flatiron is poised to undergo a renovation that will preserve its historic exterior and simultaneously reconfigure its interior to meet 21st Century demands.

The second painting for my small series (here you can see No.1 of the series), inspired by my own photographs taken at the wonderful and very inspiring HafenCity Hamburg. Reflections, maritime symbols, and signs everywhere, modern and very old buildings side by side. Artist's heaven pure! And there’s another story in Hamburg the “fusion” between the love of my life and I started exactly there. So it’s logical that we both are side by side in this painting too.

Doing some sketches inspired by @jeanhaines #onlineartschool. The goal is to paint people in motion. Since I‘m planning a large „summer at the sea“ piece, I try to paint cliffs or water jumps.
