A garden without water isn't a garden. I love to have several spots with water inside my garden. Some are for birds, hedgehogs, and other critters to bathe and drink. Some are simply to enjoy the murmur of falling water with fountains. And in recent years, we've had many frogs visiting these locations.

I can't stop painting sea turtles, so this is a further one for you. They are such elegant underwater animals.
Worldwide, six of the seven sea turtle species are classified as threatened or endangered due to human actions and lifestyles.

I will never forget this special moment years ago on the dreamy island Koh Samui, Thailand. While walking in the unbelievable warm ocean water I discovered that there were so beautiful starfishes around my feet. The lovely Online Art School of Jean Haines brought back these amazing memories. Thank you so much, Jean!

While missing the sea in the Corona year, I love this theme at Jean Haines Online Art School www.watercolorinspiration very much. I can walk at the beach in my imagination looking for starfishes, feathers, seashells, and beautiful stones.

Over the years we've collected a lot of maritime founds, which are decorated there and so the whole ensemble looks a little bit like a seaside restaurant.
