If you see Hanover's town hall for the first time, you think it's a palace or castle. But it's not, it a built as a town hall after 13 years of construction and opened in 1913. I love all about this magnificent building, especially winter shows it by its fairytale side, even more from the Masch Park side.

Thaersche Villa with flooded
Dammasch meadows
A walk around the Dammasch meadows near the Aller River in Celle is always a good idea. And if the meadows are flooded even more. The view onto the old half-timbered Villa built by Albrecht Thaer in 1793 a the edge of Thaers Garden is wonderful.

Do you know this feeling when it’s time for a further challenge for you to grow? Yes, I do and when I started with this special portrait I felt that it would be something like this. Far beyond perfection but hey, I’m on my way, and that must count too!

Inspired by the amazing "1883" American drama television series.

Again a great tutorial by Tom Shepherd on SAA. Love the powerful colors and the loose and strong brushwork of Tom so much that I must try my own version of it.

While painting African animals during the last weeks, I've had the feeling that the time is come for an African landscape painting too and here it is. It's my first work on Baohong watercolor paper and I like it a lot.

Inspired by @vanree_art wonderful autumnal painting, I’d paint my version of an oak branch with acorns in Autumn.

A further portrait painting on Yasutomo mineral paper, I like this tricky surface very much, which pushes me to paint more loose and spontaneous. The portrait too is inspired by a photo reference on ©MuseumbySKTCHY.
